Terms and Conditions

Bike Repair at G-Out Tuning in Kaprun

1. Bicycle Maintenance:
G-out Tuning performs work on your bicycle according to the work order created upon drop-off at the shop.
Before beginning any work, our mechanics will assess your bicycle to determine its condition. If necessary, we will contact you to inform you about additional required work and/or parts to be replaced, as well as the associated costs.
We will not perform any additional work or replace parts without your consent. If you choose not to follow our recommendations, we cannot guarantee that your bicycle will function flawlessly. In this case, G-out Tuning assumes no liability for resulting defects.

It may occur that we outsource the work (or parts of it) to a third party. Regardless, G-out Tuning remains responsible for the actions of the subcontractor, and this does not affect your statutory rights.

2. Completion of Work:
We strive to complete the work on your bicycle as quickly as possible and within the timeframe communicated to you. However, it may happen that completion takes longer; in this case, the completion time is not considered an essential part of the contract.

3. Price & Payment:
The price for the work (including any additional work you have authorized) corresponds to the price quoted to you by the staff in the shop.

Full payment is due upon completion of work on your bicycle and before the return of the bicycle. G-out Tuning reserves the right to retain your bicycle until full payment is made.

4. Bicycle Collection:
G-out Tuning requests that repaired bicycles be collected within 7 days of receiving the collection notification. If the bicycle is not collected, it will be stored free of charge for another 7 days. After this period, a fee of €2.00 per day will be charged, and you will be notified by email. You have a maximum of one month (31 days) to collect your bicycle. After that, the bicycle becomes the property of G-out Tuning, and we reserve the right to dispose of it without compensation.

5. Warranty:
Unless otherwise stated, the following warranties apply to all replacement parts supplied by G-out Tuning as part of this service:

  • Replacement parts: 12 months warranty
  • Labor: 6 months warranty (from the date of work performed)
    This warranty assumes that you:
    (a) maintain your bicycle according to manufacturer specifications,
    (b) present the purchase receipt for the service or repair, and
    (c) allow G-out Tuning to perform the necessary repair work.
This warranty becomes void if, in G-out Tuning’s reasonable opinion, defects in the bicycle have occurred due to normal wear and tear, improper use, intentional or malicious damage, fire, theft, misuse, or continued use after the defect has occurred.

6. Risk:
All personal items left on the bicycle at the time of drop-off are left at your own risk. G-out Tuning assumes no liability for the loss or damage of these items. We recommend removing them before dropping off the bicycle.

7. Liability:
Should we fail to comply with these terms, we will endeavor to resolve the issue as quickly as possible – this may include replacing parts.

Under no circumstances will we be liable for indirect or consequential damages, losses, or costs (including lost profits, business losses, stress, or inconvenience) resulting from a problem you report. Our obligation to compensate is limited solely to refunding the amount paid for the service.
Nothing in these terms is intended to restrict your statutory rights or exclude or limit our liability for deaths or personal injuries caused by our negligence.

8. General:
G-out Tuning reserves the right to change these terms from time to time. The terms in effect at the time the work is carried out will apply.

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service or have questions or comments, please contact our team at: office@g-outtuning.com.
